Completed Homes

Since its inception in 1976, Habitat…with more than 400,000 homes completed in throughout 100+ countries. Here in Worcester County, Maryland, we have completed 13 houses and are currently under construction on house number 14 located on Flower Street in Berlin with continued support from our donors and volunteers.

Habitat for Humanity of Worcester County was affiliated in 1994. Initial resources of $100,000 came from an anonymous donation and they are being supplemented by local fund raising efforts. Local 'covenant' churches also provide and offer prayers and service. Click on "Upcoming Events" for some of our fundraising events.

Habitat for Humanity of Worcester County has been blessed to be able to provide many deserving families of Worcester County with quality low cost housing . Since its inception, HFH of Worcester County has built homes in Berlin, Ocean Pines, Whaleyville, and Snow Hill. Currently we are building three homes located on Flower Street in Berlin, MD. A continuing challenge to our affiliate is the availability of "affordable" building lots. If anyone feels they are in a position to help in this regard ... either by notifying us of potential sites or by working on the Site Selection Committee ... please email inquire@habitatworcester.org
